Played Chess

So this week was pretty cool! We were invited to go to one of my investigators from my first areas wedding this last Friday!! We did a split and me and Elder Smith rode our bikes there.  So it’s official.  It takes 20 minutes on bike to get to my first area! And her baptism is tonight so we will be able to go again to support her!
Also, Tomorrow Heifara (from Tahaa) will be sealed to her parents so we will be able to go to that as well! So yeah this week was good.
We are having a baptism coming up this next Saturday with Oneil (our ten year old investigator who’s mom in a chief in the police) and we had to move our baptism for this Saturday for sometime in June.  I have yet to fix one for my birthday! :) We will see hahaha but all is well in Pamatai!
And drunk guy wanted to play chess with me yesterday!
And also this week I was able to go on a split with Elder Fareata at Tavararo, so I broke out my old trusty bike! And I got bike butt all over again.  I don’t have time for that! But it was really good the people are super nice, and they make us banana crepes! So I don’t complain!
Well anyway this week was great next week will be better! I love this gospel! I love the power and freedom it gives to everyone! People see the difference, people can see the change! Our job is just to find the people who are ready to make that change! And then help them do it! With the enabling power of Christ and the Gospel everything is possible! I know that I am a child of God and he has sent me here!
Love you all so so much

Pamatai

Well I’m staying in Pamatai with Elder Doit for another 6 weeks.  I did the math and by then I will have served with a French companion for 12 months of my mission. Wow.
But in other news I passed my driving test with flying colors, We got in the car and drove around the parking lot, then drove up and down a really big hill four times though a round about and into the parking lot! And then he asked me "Think your good", and  I just looked at him and answered  "hope so!" and I passed!!! It was so much easier to get permission here! Don’t worry I already celebrated! And so yeah this week was a win! (Elder Moller told me that his new name was now the Stig or Elder Stig I guess  (you have to be a Top Gear fan to understand) - Kelly)
Also this next Monday I have a baptism in Taapuna and a new convert coming from Tahaa to be sealed with her family! I’m so excited to see the lives progress of these people I love! I love the people of Pamatai and I am pretty sure to pull off another 7-month area here, but its great!
I also learned that the new missionaries being called to Tahiti only have to stay in the MTC for 6 weeks! It’s a big change, but I don’t regret the 12 weeks I spent with some of my best friends!
Thank you for the love you all send, and know I love you all,
The love of God is real and it is all around.

1 John Chapter 4
16 And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.
17 Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.
18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.
19 We love him, because he first loved us.

Happy Happy Mother's Day

Happy, Happy Mother’s Day
 Iaorana my family and friends.
Skype was so great, and family I’m sorry you watched me eat that start fruit for like five minutes, I thought it was frozen on your side too!! hahaha.
This week was good as it was Hititua's baptism this past Saturday and we ate more corndogs after!  A win win! Hititua is the first member in his family and will help us teach his parents and his brother the gospel! Other than that this week was pretty normal.
The Mission is starting up the missionary concerts again, so we will be meeting up with all the missionaries on the island and practicing every week. It’s really fun to be able to see everyone!
Next week I’ll have lots of news about the transfer this week and how my driving test goes. I’m sorry this email lacks information but Ill try to find some good pictures! I’m doing good and I love you all!!
And have a good week!

Fun Story: so when I started my mission during the 170 anniversary of the Church in Tahiti I wrote in 3 books of Mormon and we passed them out to random people.  Well, a year later and two areas after I have one of our investigators tell me he has a Book of Mormon with my name in it! I wrote that over a year ago!

No elephantitus for me

Hello everybody, hahah I never really know how to start these emails.
This week was good! But first things first, don’t be alarmed because I have my Elephantitus medicine at home ready for me to take tonight so I will not come home looking like an elephant. If you don’t know what elephantitus is, probably don’t look it up, it’s tragic.  You swell up like an elephant its  awful!! But I’m safe now!
This week just went by so fast I don’t even know if anything that amazing has happened!  Same old stuff.  Oh yes I do have a demand, I’d like you to pray, and If you don’t I’m asking you to start.  Just think of me and my manual driving skills. Thanks!  I have a test coming up this Thursday and with all my experience (3 times) I might fast this week. No, but really, having a French person yelling at you while you are driving is now on my list of things I never want to do. Awful. He was using verbs that I’m pretty sure they don’t teach until the doctorate degree in French. How is someone supposed to focus on chickens, children, dogs, cats, scooters, dumb bikers, tractors, birds, and other cars when you have to change a stupid stick thing every second?  I’m fasting.
Well anyway we have a Baptism coming up this Saturday. He is my favorite and his name is Hititua and he is 10 and he calls me his godfather, I’ll accept that title! Actually I don’t know what that means, as the only godfather I know is in Harry Potter. Seems pretty cool!
Well my family I’ll talk to you Sunday!!
Happy Happy Mothers day
Love you all my friends and family!!!!
Have a good week.
Love your missionary friend,

Niome got Baptized

We had another Baptism this week!

So Victor (our baptism from last week) baptized his wife Saturday! That has to be one of my favorite moments so far on my mission!

This week was really great! We had a zone conference with our Mission President where we talked about the importance of the qualities of Christ! And how when you look at His example and everything He did, it might seem impossible to be like Him, but that is what the Gospel is for! It fills in mistakes and strengthens weaknesses. Our goal is to become like Christ, and its Christ who made that goal possible for us.

I feel like in life we have two choices. The bad choice and the hard one. But it’s when we choose the right, even if it’s hard, that improvement and refinement happens. It can’t be easy to become like Christ.  It’s a process of perfection. And it’s amazing to help people start and continue that process in their lives.

Fun fact #1: My old mission president is in my ward, and he is now a Seventy.  He teaches our class for all our investigators each Sunday! So cool!

Fun fact #2: Cats don’t just pee in sand like I thought, no they pee in shoes!

Have a good week you all
I love you
I love this work
I love my Savior
He is where Justice, Love, and Mercy meet.

It's About Time

It’s About Time
Hello all my friends and family!! I’ll try to have more to say this week but I hope I remember everything!
So this past week we had two baptisms! Victor and Ioane! Both investigators that I starting teaching here in Pamatai, and they are so cool! Ioane has been taking the lessons for about four weeks, and he really had a few miracles and he decided to follow what the spirit was leading him to do! Also, Victor is planning to baptize his wife this Saturday! The area is doing awesome!
Today we had a service project, where we moved chicken cages. This guy owns so many chickens and he fights them and we just kinda rearranged the cages like someone would rearrange a living room, it was a nice change.
Also, this week with our zone we had a massive- I guess in English you would say farming party hahahahaha- so we just took axes and hoes and went at it on this strip of land so we could plant good plants on it, it was fun but the weeds here are so big, I will never complain again about weeding in Utah hahaha it is so easy!
Oh yeah so last week for Pday we drove to the other side of the island to visit the gardens, where the massive tortious lives.  We walked around these gardens for about two hours and we saw the turtle! It was the best thing! Then we visited the other gardens and there were signs describing all the plants in Tahiti! I was so happy looking at what plants were toxic and what plants were used in blowgun darts, and what waterfall was used to bathe all the lost wandering spirits. I also leaned that I should stop tasting plants. And after that we visited some cave things that were really cool. We had a grand ole time! So yeah that has been my life for the last two weeks and all is well!
Other then that at the gardening party I kept falling down because we were on a massive hill. And I got attacked by some bees but that is pretty normal because I stepped on their home! And the tortious is 150 years old; I don’t know how they know that. I’m sorry that I forgot everything that I did this week but just know that Tahiti is still here and so am I.
I love my mission, and I love everything I learn!
If you pull a hangnail, it could get infected! And not just a little bit. A lot bit! And it could like start pussing and like making your finger all nasty! And then you might call the doctor, and then it would be really hard to know how to say hangnail in French so he doesn’t believe you so he tells you to soak it in water. That does not help! So you finally set up an appointment and he gives you the nastiest nasty antibiotic fruit drink mix that you have to drink three times a day! And you wonder why you pulled that stupid hangnail and then you accept the fact and you decide you will never pull a hangnail as long as you live!
 The things you learn heuh!
Well I love you all so much and I pray for you all!
Stay safe and stay happy!
I know that this Gospel is true! And so can you!

Ummmmm. Oops

Ummmmm,    oops.

Everyone I have had not a lot of time to write this week but all the news is that we had stake conference and well I had to talk, I also found out during conference...I hate that.
And we fixed three baptisms for this Saturday, oh goodness I’m sorry I’ll give pictures and details next week but I know this church is true and this Gospel is the biggest blessing in my life, if it wasn’t I wouldn’t be here!

Love you all

Elder Moller

Dar did get a cute little note on Facebook from one of the recent converts Elder Moller worked with in Tahaa.  They said how much they loved him and that they were sorry that they did not speak good English.  Love that boy.
